Qube Studios was a sound stage designed for high-end tabletop and precision-driven work, featuring a custom made heavy-duty motorized lighting grid along with support for motion control, pneumatics, and LED-wall virtual production. With complimentary LED lighting, a full G&E kit, and on-site equipment, it served as a versatile, production-ready space for a wide range of creative needs.

Working on many productions in studios and in sound stages, I recognized a clear need: a smaller, more efficient space that could deliver the capabilities of a much larger facility. The concept was to offer a highly technical environment—complete with professional lighting, camera systems, and a dedicated control room—without the high costs of large studios. This approach would let creators solve complex production challenges while maintaining tighter control over their budgets.

Working on many productions in studios and in sound stages, I recognized a clear need: a smaller, more efficient space that could deliver the capabilities of a much larger facility. The concept was to offer a highly technical environment—complete with professional lighting, camera systems, and a dedicated control room—without the high costs of large studios. Starting with a blank slate, I designed the studio to make every square foot count. The plan integrated multiple functional areas: a dedicated shooting space, organized equipment storage, a live feed room for remote collaboration that doubled as a recording studio, and a comfortable green room. To push flexibility even further, I installed a motorized lighting grid, enabling quick, precise adjustments without the downtime typically associated with rigging changes.
