From Justin Poulsen “A two-part public art installation for York University: Micro-Lectures on Microplastics. We created two plinths featuring a small scale replica of an existing York University classroom and filled it with 300 tiny 3D-printed students and their professor, Dr. Shooka Karimpour. The projection screen features a small LCD screen that plays the actual full length presentation featuring Dr. Karimpour. The base of our plinth features a laser etched York University logo as well as a hot-swappable interior that is currently constructed from plastic collected from the beach and  diverted from landfills.
